Our Goals
SKATE for Girls is a unique free program that teaches math through figure skating and movement. Students combine action with learning to retain material more effectively. Girls become excited about math and improve confidence in their math skills.

Connect math to movement
Covers national mathematics curriculum with a range of topics for 4-8 grade, providing a combination of review and challenging topics
Skate
Learn basic skating skills
Improve confidence by practicing and performing on the ice which increases overall self-esteem

Become immersed in real-world applications of math within an empowering female community
